When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account. We use this to create your DailyMath5 account and identify your progress across devices.
As you use the app, we store:
| Data | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Chapters you select | Personalizing your daily quiz and practice sets |
| Quiz & practice answers, scores, streaks | Tracking progress, "Today's Goal," and your answer calendar |
| Per-chapter and per-topic performance stats | Powering Strengths & Weaknesses and Chapter Insights |
| Trial start date, subscription status | Managing your 30-day free trial and Pro access |
| Contact Us submissions (name, city, email, message) | Responding to your questions or bug reports |
We do not collect your device's advertising ID, location, contacts, or any data unrelated to running the app — DailyMath5 has no advertising or analytics SDK built in.
When you photograph a handwritten answer for checking, the app requests camera access to take that one photo. The photo is sent securely to our grading service, which uses an AI vision model to check your answer and generate feedback.
We do not keep the photo itself once grading is complete — only the resulting text feedback and correctness are saved to your account, the same as any other answer. If a question doesn't already have a written solution, the AI-generated explanation is saved to that question so future students see it too — this saved text is never linked back to your photo or your identity.
DailyMath5 Pro is billed through Google Play. Your payment details are handled entirely by Google Play Billing under Google's own privacy policy — the app only receives confirmation of whether your subscription is active.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active, so your progress and history stay available across devices. If you'd like your account and data deleted, contact us (below) and we'll remove it, other than records we're required to keep for legal or accounting reasons.
Reach us using the contact details at the bottom of this page for any of the above.
DailyMath5 is built for CBSE Class 10 students, who are typically 14–16 years old. The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account without consent, contact us and we'll delete it.
We use industry-standard measures — including Google Firebase's built-in encryption in transit and at rest — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use DailyMath5 after a change means you accept the updated policy.
